"The Nomads" were originally formed in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1965. This powerhouse band today consist of three members. The one original member, Ronny Hunt (drummer) better known as "The Hammer", has been playing with (singer, lead guitarist) Walt Adams, better known as "Hollywood", for over 17yrs. These two guys, for the last 10yrs have been hooked up with ( bass guitarist ) Carl Christian, better known as "Chicken Wing". They have a combined experience of over 40 yrs of music, which is why they have no problem taking rock-a-billy to a new level! This band plays 50's,60's,70's,80's & 90's! You name it! This band has a vintage look, but paired with today's style and punch. They have released 4cds', 3 singles', and have a new cd to be released in the very near future! Have setup, will travel attitude which means they come complete with state of the art sound and lights and ready to rock!
